A group of words such as verb, preposition, adverb, preposition, noun, or adjective which collectively functions as a noun is called phrasal noun. It has following three types:

Closed form

Two words are attached together. 
E.g. foot + ball = football, straight + forward = straightforward

Hyphenated form

Two words are connected by hyphen.
E.g. ice + cream = ice-cream, Indo + Nepalese = Indo-Nepalese

Open form

Two words are connected by space.
E.g. prime + minister = prime minister, head + teacher = head teacher
